As the varsity boys soccer team starts out this year’s season, they have good and bad days. Their recent loss against Cinco Ranch, in Katy, Texas has been eye opening for them. The game started out with the boys warming up as they got ready for a cold game. Some of their best players had been out such as their goalie. With their injuries, they were unable to play in the past games, but they were out there just like the others warming up. As they approached game time, it only got colder and the crowd knew it would be a chilling game. The game started around one in the afternoon and Clemens Buffs started off playing good and getting hyped up from the crowd and others on the bench. Cinco Ranch made three goals on Clemens within the first half. Halftime comes along and Coach Wong gives the boys a pep talk so they can go back out there and make some magic happen. Within the first 10 minutes of coming back after halftime, Clemens scored. They played pretty good for the rest of the game, but Cinco Ranch was rough with them and the referee’s didn’t call many fouls that should have been called out. The crowd did not die down even though Clemens was losing, the family and friends of the boys continued to shout with team spirit. Although Cinco Ranch scored two more goals after Clemens scored, Clemens had a well fought game.
