Reading also helps one understand and grow with empathy. This is learned whether its a child or adult. People are able to put themselves in a characters shoes and connect with them emotionally. The reader will be able to experience the struggles and accomplishments and learn to understand other people’s emotions. This is a great skill to have in order to connect with other people and develop socially as a person.
However, reading does take up time and is hard to squeeze in a busy schedule. This is understood, so any form of reading throughout the day would be beneficial, even if it is a sign on the road. Although, there are other beneficial ways of reading. Books also have messages that make people uncomfortable, but that could be easily avoided as long as one monitors what one is reading.
Therefore, people should try to incorporate reading into their daily life to live a happier stress free life and maintain skills they have learned when reading. Reading, although time consuming, is a beneficial practice for all.
