Fishing is a popular hobby and a good, relaxing way to spend time with family and friends. This past weekend, I got to experience the exciting adventures of fishing for myself. Some of my family and I went out on a boat with fellow seekers of the hobby and got the time to fish for four hours. While on South Padre Island, we decided to go out on a fishing trip to relax and unwind from the stressful week. South Padre is a great place to go bay fishing on a boat with others. We all went to “Captain Murphy’s Isla Tours” on South Padre Island. The cost of being taken out on the boat to go bay fishing is 25 dollars per person, and the cost of getting the fish you caught to be filleted is 50 cents per fish. Captain Murphy’s Isla Tours don’t just do bay fishing tours. They also provide you with the choice of going on dolphin watching, eco tours, deep sea fishing trips, fireworks cruise, and Port Brownsville tours. The prices for each of these different tours and trips vary depending on how long you would like to go and how many people are going on these exhilarating trips. If you would like to go on these trips and/or tours, you must bring your fishing license if you’re over 18. They will provide you with fishing bait and other necessary products needed for fishing. Although this particular place takes place in South Padre, I highly recommend that if you are ever down here for any occasion, you look into going to Captain Murphy’s or somewhere similar to this extravagant place.
