Hill Country Cottage and RV Resort off of Rueckle Road in New Braunfels, Texas offers spectacular amenities while providing accommodations on a week-by-week basis. For $368 a week, our family of three resided at this location from Feb. 18 until March 25, 2020 while in transition. The employees were friendly and accomodating with a smile on their face each time encounters were made to renew our site #335.

​Jayde Hernandez, a freshman high school student, said, “It was a fun experience, but crowded.”

She lived in a 44 foot toy hauler which was on loan from family friends. During these five weeks, spring break occurred and the influx of guests was noticeable.

​“It was a great place to bring friends and family and an overall magical place to stay,” Jillian Hernandez, Jayde’s twin sister said.

Two heated pools, three hot tubs, a dry sauna, an exercise room, mining run, volleyball courts, basketball court, playground equipment, craft room, rec room with a pool table, and gift shop are available amenities when the county is not on mandatory shut down due to Coronavirus. Wristbands are required to be worn by all guests and cost $5 if lost or needing replacement.

Come sunset, residents could be seen cruising the mini-blocks with their golf carts and pets on leashes, wearing smiles of relaxation and security,” Guest Derek Crowe said. “Their hard earned dollar is not being thrown away living frivolously, but rather enjoying the amenities and resort lifestyle in a constant state of vacation.”
