Junior varsity working harder
Junior varsity football had a Thursday away game going up against Veterans varsity football team. Theo Gonzales, a JV football player was stunned by the power of their team.
“Practice is pretty tough for the JV players. Mostly the coaches only focus on varsity, so it’s harder for us to get better when we can’t play the positions we play but instead have to watch our superiors which isn’t very helpful to be honest,” Theo Gonzales said.
Although being undefeated for most of the first half of the season, going up against a varsity team. The JV team lost against them but in the end they will come back from this fail.
“I get sad because my friends are like family.. “ Alex Atkinson said.
The hardest part about being in football is losing the free time with the ones you love and care about. Football for JVis every thursday with little of hanging out with some family and friends. Although this may be hard for the families sometimes, they at least get to see you guys play.
"It’s an honor to be a part of such a great football program and gain the learning experience I have been given with amazing athletes and coaches I play and practice with,’’ Gonzales said
